How it works

Step 1

Discover curated startups

Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. Filter by country, sector, stage and cheque fit โ€” and spot the Underserved Market badge.

Step 2

Form or join a syndicate

Any investor can lead a syndicate around a deal: set a target, a minimum cheque and a deadline. Others soft-commit โ€” non-binding, transparent.

Step 3

Close off-platform

When the target is hit, the lead gets every member's contact details and coordinates the actual close through a licensed partner.

Why beyond the big four?

Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt and South Africa absorb the vast majority of African venture funding. Founders in Kigali, Dakar, Douala or Dar es Salaam build for real, growing markets with far less capital chasing them. Bridgr makes those deals visible and lets many small cheques add up to a meaningful round.

Diaspora-friendly
Investors abroad flag themselves as diaspora and set the countries they want to back.
Curated, not open
Listings are approved by hand before investors ever see them.
Coordination, not custody
Bridgr never touches money. Soft commits are signals; closes happen with licensed partners.

Bridgr is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fund. Soft commits are non-binding. Nothing on this platform is investment advice. Read more
